About Us:
SAMBRA has been in existence for over 20 years and represents the
interests of the vast majority of the formal motor body repairer
market in South Africa.
All Motor Body Repairers that are able to achieve the standards of
SAMBRA's grading system are invited to apply for membership of
SAMBRA and the membership that has attained our stringent
grading standards now stands at 1015 Nationwide. The grading
system is devised to allow all levels of repairer to become a SAMBRA
member however restrictions are placed on our members in terms
of the scope of work they are permitted to carry out, depending on
and aligned with the grading they have achieved.
All the activities of SAMBRA are aimed at developing a sound
sustainable Industry for all role players that interact with the
Industry on various levels. SAMBRA has, in conjunction with its
process partners K&A Smart developed an Industry standard SQS
(service quality standard) program that constantly monitors the
service levels of SAMBRA members. SAMBRA offers consumers a
system of complaint management called the SAMBRA CCRP
(consumer complaint resolution procedure). This system enables
consumers to initiate a resolution procedure, managed by 6 SAMBRA
regional managers nationwide, which will efficiently resolve any
problem a consumer may have with the standard of repair provided
by any one of the SAMBRA membership.
SAMBRA members repair over 80% of all insured repairs in the
South African market and hold all the relevant Manufacturer
approvals to do so. In fact over 500 SAMBRA members hold a
variety of manufacturer approvals, which is testimony to the high
level of standards maintained by SAMBRA. Use a SAMBRA member
to be assured of a quality repair to your vehicle.
